 PTA Meeting Thursday, Feb 9 ~ 1:00 p.m. BLUE RIBBON WEEK ~ Feb 3 - 10 In an effort to take a stand against bullying, we ask each family to participate in the week's activities to help students see the value of kindness. Look for information coming home soon. Highlights will include a service project, guest speakers and a visit from our friends at the local animal shelter. Click on the link above for a schedule of the week's events. The Marblehead PTA is currently seeking candidates to fill its Executive Board for the 2012-2013 school year. Elected positions include: President, Executive Vice President, Vice President - Ways & Means, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Volunteer Coordinator, Financial Secretary, Auditor and Historian. If you are interested in an Executive Board position or need more information, please contact Michele Atkinson at mcatkinson@cox.net. Candidates will be reviewed and the Nominating Committee will present its proposed slate at the General Association Meeting on Thursday, February 9th. Coming Soon.....FAMILY ART NIGHT! THE ART OF JOAN MIRO  Thursday, March 1, 2012 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. ~ Multi-Purpose Room Come celebrate the arts with the whole family! Join popular Art Masters presenter Poli Rizco to discover the colorful and imaginative world of Joan Miro. This famous 20th century Spanish painter was known for his abstract and surreal compositions. After learning about the life and work of this unique artist, students and parents will have the opportunity to create their own masterpiece. All materials will be provided.
